Chaucer College continually explores ways in which our students may display their country and culture to the community.

We host College Open Days and Open Evenings of Japanese food and culture in aid of various local charities, which have included the John Graham Centre, a locally-based charity working with adults with learning disabilities, and the Kent homelessness charity Porchlight, amongst others. We also take part in the Folkestone Multi-Cultural Festival, the Will Adams Festival at Gillingham, and groups of our students visit a number of local primary schools.
