Access to British University Programme
This is a 2 ½ year programme which comprises a four-month Intensive English course, followed by the ten-month Chaucer College Foundation Course which in turn leads on to the University of Kent Certificate in Social Sciences and Humanities programme. On successful completion of this programme students are eligible to join the University of Kent undergraduate programme at Stage Two (second year) level. This is an established programme currently undergoing review in the light of UKBA requirements.

Shumei University Courses
The majority of students at Chaucer College are in the first year of their degree course at Shumei University and belong to the Faculties of English and IT Management, the Faculty of Management and Administration, the Faculty of Tourism Business or the Faculty of Teacher Education.
From April 2011, the students will come for a five-month programme from April to September as part of their first year.
