Chaucer College Canterbury is the largest of our two colleges and benefits from a vast array of facilities on its campus.
Library and Computer Room
We have a large library with over 3000 books in English for both education and entertainment. As well as academic texts and journals, we receive daily newspapers. The library also has a bank of computers for students use.
The College has a suite of 15 computers, which, when not in use for lessons, is available to students from 7am until 12 midnight every day.
Common Room and Mezzanine
The College Common Room has a range of leisure equipment such as a billiard table, table football, large flat screen television, games console and DVD player. On the mezzanine above the dining hall residents can play table tennis.
Residents can also make use of our large lawn areas at Canterbury to play football, volley ball, badminton etc. We supply most nets, goals and equipment for all games.
University of Kent Sports Centre
Our students can join the new Sports Centre just up the road at the University of Kent. They provide a range of up-to-date facilities with the latest equipment, including a fitness suite, a dance studio and hall with courts for badminton, tennis and basketball as well as squash. There is also a climbing wall.
