IELTS Test

Chaucer College is the official test centre for the IELTS Academic Test and the IELTS General Training Test in Kent

Online registration System 2

We are now using the IELTS Online Registration System 2. If you have booked IELTS with us before you will notice a number of changes, notably as follows. You will create an account and this will facilitate repeat bookings. If you are under 18, you will no longer be able to make a booking yourself, you will have to ask your parent or guardian to make the booking for you. You will be able to choose the time of your Speaking Test on a first-come first-served basis.

If you have both a valid passport and a UK Residence Permit you must use your passport as ID for the IELTS Test. Your UK Residence Permit can only be used if you do not have a valid passport. If you do use your UK Residence Permit you must upload an image of BOTH SIDES of the card, as the necessary information is written on both the front and the back of the card.

Please bear with us while we get used to
the new system. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the IELTS Administrator c.madeley@chaucercollege.co.uk.

If you are making a complaint about an incident on the test day, this form must be submitted on the day itself. No complaint can be processed after your results have been released by the test centre.

Please note, results cannot be issued until the complaint has been investigated and resolved.

You may also use the British Council Global Complaint Procedure

If you think your IELTS test has not been marked correctly, you may download an IELTS Enquiry on Results Form. You must make this request within six weeks of the test date. The fee is £110.00, irrespective of how many sections you wish to have remarked. This will be refunded if your IELTS result is raised by the British Council Senior Examiner.
