We are looking for an additional member of staff to support our current Accommodation & Homestay team. Students studying at our college are either housed on site in our accommodation or with local homestay families. Duties will include:
Supporting the Accommodation Manager with in-house accommodation bookings. Assist with the planning of the use of the College’s accommodation. Communicate information about bookings and changes in a timely manner. Work with colleagues to ensure the College’s accommodation system is kept updated. Assist with student arrival and departures which may involve working outside normal office hours/weekends and bank holidays.
Supporting our Homestay service, dealing with applications from new families, annual visits to existing families, building and maintaining positive relationships with our homestay families. Dealing with queries and any concerns they may have.
You will need strong administration and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate work with other departments. A flexible approach to working arrangements is required to meet the needs of the business. Previous experience in dealing with accommodation bookings or working in a summer school environment would be an advantage. Satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS required.
